The Assistant Venue Manager will be the catalyst of creating an energetic environment! Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be managing the day-to-day operations of one of our outlets, whilst balancing staff management, maximising revenue opportunities and exceeding customer expectations.

To be successful for this position  

  • Have a strong focus on guest satisfaction through the delivery of exceptional customer service
  • Adept at supporting, developing and motivating a team to exceed customer expectations
  • Have experience in daily operational reporting and liaising with partners and senior management.
  • A proven experience working within financial targets including managing budgets, controlling stock, and overseeing labour
  • Confident in ensuring compliance with food safety and operational standards.
  • Capable of fostering and upholding a workplace culture aligned with our brands.
  • Possess the skills to lead diverse teams, with a strong emphasis on training and developing team members.
  • Flexibility to a work a variety of shifts over a 7 day a week roster including morning, days and nights
  • Reliable own transport as some shifts are not supported by public transport to and/or from the airport

  • Passion for the hospitality industry, customer-focused, energetic, and self-motivated
  • A people leader, who can create an energetic and inclusive environment while instilling a sense of fun
  • Experience in recruiting, mentoring, training, and developing
  • Strong communication skills



  • Qualification in Hospitality Management highly regarded
  • Approved Managers Card
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain at onboarding
  • Food Saferty Supervisor Certificate highly regarded
