Housekeeping Attendant  – Pinewood Lodge

We have an opening at Pinewood Lodge Resorts, a village of accommodation set in the picturesque Queenstown, New Zealand. With stunning views of the Remarkables, our three acre property is only minutes from the centre of Queenstown. Our property boasts 130 rooms for diverse groups, from backpackers to families and adventure seekers.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Attendant to join our dynamic team. The role involves ensuring that guest rooms are impeccably maintained, contributing to an experience that goes beyond their expectations.


Requirements & Responsibilities 

  • Reviewing daily inventory of rooms
  • Service and cleaning of rooms, common areas and public areas
  • Comply with all guest privacy and security procedures
  • Collecting soiled linen for laundering
  • Replenishment of the mini bar and recording any items that have been used
  • Reporting any damaged items and/or lost property items
  • Collecting & returning Guest laundry
  • Responding to both guest or staff queries
  • Committed to providing high quality guest service
  • Enthusiastic and energetic approach to the role
  • Good communication and time-management skills
  • Be work fit – this is a physically demanding role
  • Flexibility to a work a variety of shifts over a 7 day a week roster and ability to accommodate busy seasonal periods



  • Experience in a housekeeping role essential
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s licence
  • Knowledge of safe work practices and use of chemicals
  • First Aid Certificate, highly regarded
